A 2nd Job

So I've been in full swing with my second job the last couple of weeks. I've picked up another tutoring job in which I go to students' house/apartment and tutor them for about an hour long session. I see each child for about two hours (about two sessions) a week. I see them for either math or reading. All the kids I see for this qualify for so many free tutoring hours through the whole No Child Left Behind thing.

So now I have two part times jobs that don't equate to a full time job, but it's better than nothing! I'd like to think I'm now a pretty good grade school tutor for reading and math. And if nothing else, I've also learned that working for government money is a pain in the @$$ and requires lots of tedious record and paper keeping.

Oh and we keep getting more snow. Last week we were spoiled with t-shirt weather that was in the mid-20s. This week we are back with more snow (we got about three more inches yesterday), and back in the single and negative degree weather! It's getting old waking up to sweeping off inches of snow from the car! Where's spring??

Tidbits by Thomas: Uncle Juichi gave me some old addresses (from like the 1970s) and names of Matsui relatives in Japan. I've been trying to research online how to possible see if these are still accurate addresses or what, but the internet hasn't been much help thus far. Any ideas?

  1. Better start with the Japanese lessons! Or start saving for a trip - I'll go with you!
